hey buds, ive been growing some wild cubensis and im on the 3rd generation of it and no fruits, my cased cakes (made under mmgg tek) only get bumpy as the weeks go by...
and another question, for me not to waste the good shit i know is in it, could i dry my cakes and extract the goodies with methanol as under psilocybin producers guide? (that tek of 5000 hits a week..)...

and methanol just happens to be industrial grade windshield washer fluid...do you know someone that works at a Jiffy Lube type place perhaps or an auto parts store that would have access to unadulterated methanol?

Ack, do NOT mix window washer fluid with anything you're going to consume. I'm sure it contains other nasty chemicals which you won't be able to evaporate like the methanol. And I doubt any auto store would have pure methanol for washer fluid; after all they don't manufacture the stuff. Better stick to a chemical supplier; there are a number of them on the 'net which you can order from.

well, i dont know how things work in your country but down here i walk 1 block to the chem store and get 1 liter of 99,8% pure methanol (pretty industrial grade) for a value equal to about... 2 american dollars.
that was good to hear, i have already done it before posting and ive got a pee like (in color) extract. i need more methanol, now. =)
ah, another thing that im gonna say by my own experience is that methanol is a real dangerous thing if you dont handle it right. once i almost put fire in my house trying to extract DMT from plant sources with methanol. its not foolproof.
about the alcohol, ive read somewhere else that the most efficient way to extract was with methanol, althought alcohol would work. if you cant get methanol, i'd suggest anhydrous alcohol...

but concerning about my cakes, id like to see them fruit.... ive been reading another posts of fruiting problems and people say they cover the new growing mycelia with more vermiculite (casing)... my question is - which tek tell you to do that? im pretty familiar with the most pop teks and ive never seen this written...

ahem...I said Jiffy Lube because I used to work at one, and we certainly did have pure methanol...it is mixed with water to make washer fluid.
