Pretty much all of the money from an album goes to the record company... if you want to support the ARTIST goto a SHOW!

I think his music is wicked. He deserves the money. That's just me though, I believe in music and paying for music I love so that the artists get some of my money.

I paid $90 for a ticket to one of their shows once.

Thats more money than if I had bought all of their CDs.

and I actually did buy most of their music because it came out before Napster and all that shit.

But all the CDs I do buy come from used CD stores anyway... niether the artist nor the label see that money.
