Hi ppl im new and bored today as its my day off work, so im posting a silly little poem i wrote a couple minutes ago, would love to read other ppls poems too  :smile:

Nameless Face

Time stood still for a while,
The empty hills rolled onto the horizon, as the hazy sun set.
Many tears fell for the longing of past pleasure,
The air grew still once more and each moment seemed endless
Alone she stood in that feild falling in a reflective stupor
As what once was real fell to the last stand of the heart
A nameless face echoed in the shadows of the hillside
Little has the search come from the sound of one beat to the quiet state of ones heart,
The stillness ran through her thoughts, but were unable to say her true name.

Sun must remember
i Am moment Moon
winged eye mirror
will for-tell how soon
thirst seeks chance
as high fires bloom.

vanishing wishes
in technicolor dreams
in awe of woe
the giggling mind gleams
sonic prism heart lotus,

re-create your fate
and reset your scene.

through hyper-dimensional
axis fields spiral,
enter
ahead from within.

This is a poem I wrote a little while back with my father in mind.

I've got the vagabond blues
My roots are restless
Can I fill these shoes?
Of what I'm told is a man
What do you expect of me?
I'm doing what I know
Just 'cuz you think it's wrong
Doesn't make it so
To each their own
Voids will be filled
And when I find mine
That's when I'll build
So look inside yourself
And stop looking at me
We each have our own path
One day you'll see

"A Quick Surprise"

Fears and pleasures
sitting wet and beaten
the rain comes and soon
goes

As the paths you could've taken
sit and stare,
You notice what is there --
An empty hollow with a pretty
face
You're stuck in a moment, but
it's already dead
Mighty Probability gently
guides you, and then
recoils in fear

You're dropped into an
oasis, paralyzed in a stare

The water dries and trees
fall, but still you sit and stare

Sad soppy dreams
on wet pillowed nights.
She comes to take my hand.
I smile.
She knows.

Through the window of my mind
with the light of our hearts
we fly through time
deep, deep, deep
inside us all.

We sit and stare
as i begin my fall.

in side us all
where hearts are one
and she knows...
