Some Thai 3 cubies, P. Mexicana and Mondays Stuntz

Well after posting my photos of the Opium poppies in the Other drugs forum which were growing a block form my home, I decided to share with you some more images from this week.

First here is a photo of Monday's collection of P. stuntzii growing on a lawn at the University of Washington's campus.



And from my bedroom, a picture of the few P. mexicana's growing in a terrarium. So far about twenty came up and all along the sides of the terrarrium, not on the top, which is now getting comtaminated.



now these next three images are of of the new Hawkseye strain of Thai 3's. From Hua Thanon, Koh Samui. All three of the shrooms posted on one paper below were grown in the same box and were from one patch of mycellium in a petri plate yet all three grew differently.




Now here below I put a quarter to show size of these unusual Thai 3 shrooms



and below are the same three are the Thai 3's and the one on the left in the giant baggie is from the Indian strain I originally brought back from Orissa, India.

Those are some chunky looking cubes.Very colorful.
I beleive that's the first pic I've ever seen of cultivated mexicanas.Way to go Mj.
But the stuntzii's,there's just something about the way they look,like they are mocking people as they pass by'em while they grow in the grass, "We may not be the strongest of our magic brothers, but pick me, eat me, and we'll open your mind" they scream.They are lovely mushies, those stuntziis. It's a shame the psilocybes are so misunderstood by some people. If they only knew.

Isn't P. Mexicana actually from Spain?

No Small Putrid.

Only Spaniards are originally from Spain.

P. mexicana is known of from Oaxaca Mexico and Guatemala.

However My mushroom, Psilocybe samuiensis is the closest relative of Psilocybe mexicana, belonging to the same stirps asP. mexicana and is the only direct relative of Psilocybe mexicana found outside of Mexico which is only related to Espa?a through inbred conquistadores and indigenous native Americans.

it was only pointed out to me the other day that you are the one and only john allen! haha LOL how ignorant of me not to notice!!! just to set the record straight you are the same john allen that writes excellent books and travels the world to collect these various cube strains for all of us lucky shroomerites to enjoy?!
damn that is a way cooler realisation than you will get from ANY shrooms!

How is it related through them??? I knew SP was wrong. That other guy though was right, the guy who is from a church that legally uses mushrooms, only he would really know about that mushroom, although the mjshroomer probably knows a lot, he is like a know it all of mushrooms-teacher, anyone who takes his class probably puts a Dirk Weasel porcelain on his desk. I always visualized mj teaching his class like my math teacher, "OK! Class, I am your teacher for the semester, Mushroom John, don't confuse me with a math teacher."
