Monster Cubies In New Mexico.

Hi guys.. I live in central new mexico. I think i have made a significant discovery.
One day while looking for cubbenisis in a near pasture. I came upon some monster cubies. They seem to only grow in this area. 10 miles south the cubies are of average sized fruits.
But here,...Oh man..
The average size of this strain when mature is 30 grams dry. The cap is a diameter of 10 inches. The stems are about 9 inches long. They bruise dark blue. They are extreemly potent. I know your all pretty doubtfull about this strain. But belive me.. Its a cubenisis. I confrimed by injesting. Spore prints. Hell ive even had a local park ranger identify them. They were confirmed by spore size. I have several spore prints. Im in the procces of cultivating this amazing strain. I shall give it a name... umm.. i dunno. I broke my camera while walkig to the magical area of theese mushies. I will get a new camera soon. Im contemplating selling or distributing theese spores out of state. Oh yeah its legal to cultivate the magic mushrooms in New mexico. So this strain should be worth some money. Im still investigating how they grow so large. Im thinking the manure or soil. Perhaps the cows are fed a supplement of some sort. I wish mjshroomer would reply to this thread. Ok thanks,

I don't think that is correct....

10" wide cubensis .... is possible, but, only in optimum conditions...

I donno what to think, you have all this talk and there is no pictures. Usually when people bring things up like this, its hard to believe so sorry.

i live in LA and we have probably the largest in the us here and that would be big to our standards. these cubes, were they picked next to a radioactive dump site? you might wanna bring a Geiger counter on your next hunt.

i've seen em here in south carolina with 9 inche caps and foot long stems so its not impossile jus hard to 8elieve without pics..

the most weight from one cu8e i picked from my field weighed 68 grams wet...

i think ima go huntin this weekend,weather is acting strange

The average size of this strain is a sentence with no subastance. You should have said the average weight of this specimen, buit then again, no single cubensis could weigh one pound fresh to equal 30 grams dried.

I would like to point out that one fresh pound of P. cubensis when dried weigh approzimaterly one dry ounce. No one in the history of Psilocybian musherooms has ever seen a single specimen drying out at from one wet pound to 30 grams dry, which is over an ounce.The dosage for cubes is 3-5 dried grams or one fresh ounce or more. that could be anywhere from 1 to fifty mushrooms weighing one fresh ounce. SO your figueres make no sense.

Regarding wild cubes in NM or SC, Once a shroom reaches about 8 inches in height or so they start to bow and fall to the side as seen in many images posted here by me and others. And those are ones grown in a controlled in vitro environment and they generally fall over because the stems cannot support the weight of the caps.. I cannot believe they grow in the wild with a 9 inch tall stem.

While Bob Harris once posted a picture of his ten inch in diameter cubensis cap, which by the way is the size of a 78 inch RPM record, no one since has shown a picture even close to ten inches in diameter. I have posted imaes of 22 inch long stemed cubes from Orrisa India strain and they also fall down tot ghe left and the right because of the extreme weights of the caps..

If the poster of this thread found some in the wild in New Mexico then it was because someone moved thier grow operation into an outdoor habitat. Otherwise, cubes do not grow in New Mexico except in someones basement or attic.

And again for SC, Lets see some pictures of these giant cubes you speak of? I amd many of my friends have collected shrooms for more than thirty years and have not seen these growths in Psilocybe cubensis outside of labnoratory conditions, and that includes many experts in the field of taxonomy and mycology who would agree with me on this one.

If this is true and its legal for u to cultivate , go ahead an make ur closet a fruiting chamber and do some bulk grows , im sure this would work wonders.

actually im in columbia and i love how people tell me what i find how big they can be here in SC...not that every cube i have found has been 9 inches the biggest was close to 9 and the stem was damn close to being a foot long the second biggest would be 6 and a half inches cap wise and a 9 inch stem but without pics i see how nobody believes a damn thing anybody says on here so hopefully come next spring\summer i will have these pics yall want soooo bad and then maybe some of you will be satisfied untill then ima continue to hunt\pick cubes here in SC

p.s. also if pictures are needed that bad hows about someone send me a digital cam cuz i cant afford one at the moment...

p.s.s im not stupid i dont lie/brag about sizes to make myself sound cool over the internet how childish i kno what i see and i kno how to use a ruler...so dont ever tell me im full of shit because if you do i'll tell you to go get a spoon so you can eat my ass....

The following is one of my finds this last spring in NE Kansas. Nomadette is
using her arm as a size comparison in the first pic. This specimen dried to
over 32 grams. The cap alone came out to 20 grams dry. Enjoy!  :cool:

Still, even though that is a huge cubensis the cap is not 10 inches in diameter. Looks no bigger than 7 inches. Still fucking huge, though, I doubt I'd eat such a huge mushroom for the purpose of its hallucinogenic properties. Would be way too much material.
