i was wondering if it was possible to put a Sega or s/nes emulator on a xbox?

well you don't need a modchip if you have the correct version of xbox and the knowledge to do it.

I have modded 9 xboxes with out a chip. If you are interested I can mod it for you. You seem to have a good trade rating and the people who rated you I know are good traders.

yes. Xenesis is the best one for Xbox. Get that.

yesh you def need to get it, its bad ass having all the snes games, i only have about 100 sega games though. also try to get a bigger hard drive so you can copy games, if you dont already have one.

Yep, Xbox can emulate pretty much every other console ever (from prev gens)....and apparently theres a DC emu coming out for it soon (not sure how well itll run)

I've got every original nintendo, and every original genesis game on my Xbox. Don't buy a new one and think you can do the mod to it. You should buy an old one, like from a pawn shop. I use Xbox media player on mine. I love that I can play Divx and Xvid movies on my TV, instead of having to watch them on the computer.

The xboxes that you can buy in the store right now (v1.6 holiday bundle) can be softmodded no problem. I did it to a friend of mine's a week or two ago. Yeah and xbox media player rocks...streaming movies from my comp to my xbox and then straight on my tv.

Check out www.xbox-scene.com and click on tutorials. You'll see everything there, I believe. For an older Xbox (ver. 1.0 - 1.5) check out TSOP flashing.
