Creating a place for shrooms to grow in my yard

I was thinking the other night token up, about maybe creating an enviroment in my backyard that funky shrooms would want to grow on native to the ohio area. Anyone have any thoughts about what type of substrate i should leave outside... Ive got compost mostly of grass clippings and shit around the yard. Should i use straw or somthing??? Any tips or ideas lemme know.

Are you innoculating it? Or just making a bed and hoping they will appear? I doubt they will just start to grow there, however, if you have found something at a local pasture, take some shit pies back with you. Dig a hole in a shady area, throw your shit in, and toss a couple of those "funky" shrooms native to that pasture in. Stir it around and keep it moist, and hope for the best.
Unless you wanna go all out and make a nice humid environment, with pasturized straw. Like one of those Ryche hawk deals or something.
