Beforei make the trek to Florida.... I'm going out tomorrow to an area in the Eastern region of PA (not the city eastern, just the east part of the state). I have heard rumors that a particular City/town/whatever has an abundant number of shrooms growing in their cow and horse fields. Supposedly they are not native mushrooms to the area, but rather they were spread by "some hippie" back in the 70's and they have been grwing in the wild ever since. Like i said this is all heresay, but if anyone knows about where i am talking about, any additional info would be great. If you want more particular info of whereabouts I'm talking, and if you want to hear the results tomorrow evening, PM me, and i'll get back to you with all the dirt.

I have lived in Eastern PA my whole life, and I've never heard that one before. That doesn't mean it isn't true, because there are tons of old granola types around here in the New Hope area that would be happy to spread some blue cheer, and there are tons of horse and cow farms. I've never found any shrooms of any kind in any field, but conditions in this part of the country should be perfect for several different species of Psillys, so there must be some somewhere. Amanitas are just about in season here, as well as Laughing Gyms, there are plenty of both in this area, and it just rained here all weekend, so conditions should be good. Good luck.

By the way, PM me to let me know what area Johnny Appleseed supposedly did his work, if you don't mind.

In short y'all... I found lots of cow shit, horse shit, and other shit, but NO SHROOMS... I fed alot of the cows i "met" apple slices with spores on them, so maybe next year/ a few months will be more promising.... I guess i'll have to wait and see. I am probaly going to Georgia or Florida soon, anybody know any good fields there? Willing to share the information? PM me, PLEASE... I'll keep my mouth shut and won't tell a soul (even the ppl going w/ me in the car, I'm driving, i'll know where i am going, but they'll never find it)
