What is a good way to re-hydrate a casing between flushes? I've tried misting and re-casing with verm, worked ok. The water seemed to stop the mycelium growth with the misting. Can you dunk a casing?

That?s not necessarily a bad thing. The casing should not be colonized throughout.
Even Stamets recomends spraying the mycelium down if it tends to overgrow the casing layer.
I assume you got the point from Anno? You don't need alot of surface colonization to have a good flush...just mist the surface good between flushes. Remember, your casing layer is not supposed to be a source of nutrition...
