Shaolin Soccer
    #3474287 -

I just saw this film, and I was completely and utterly amazed. It's one of the best films I've ever seen. It's profoundly spiritual. It's a guidebook on how to be an enlightened human being. It teaches the awakened human being how to interact with unawakened people, the risks and rewards thereof. I strongly recommend this movie to anyone spiritually minded, and be sure to look past the surface to its symbolic meaning. The main actor (who also made the film) is telling you a very deep message, one that likely will fly over the heads of most unless you pay attention for it.

It was originally released in Hong Kong. Miramax brought it to the West after sitting on it for a year or two I believe. There are two versions, the original Hong Kong one with written subtitles and the U.S. version with dubbing and a few deleted scenes. The former is much better. I assume it would be available at a local video store (it's pretty popular due to its amazing special effects...even though they aren't the film's main characteristic).
