The opposite of a profound truth
    #3146969 - 09/17/04 04:59 AM (12 years, 4 months ago)

is often times another profound truth.

^^^ I think that is a cute statement that also holds water of spiritual wisdom and truthability. I was thinking (kind of) tonight about this and I used it in the context of

"All pain is an illusion."

This is a buddhist idea that can be used in everday life. Well, see what I do here...All illusions are pain.

Yes, what if all the pain we have in our lives is a direct result of the illusions we harbor. Think about that one for a while.

The opposite of a correct statement is a false statement, but the opposite of profound truth may be another profound truth. -- Niels Bohr

4) We need a smaller, less-intrusive government.

lol what a warped view

learning IS the process of listening to those who are saying it better, to further your own understanding!

totally bent up, you are

I would love a definition on "learning"
From both of you  as I kind of agree whit both of you. And there it is, the "kind of agree" part
If you learn something, is it the cemented?
On the other hand, can you learn something an keep an open mind?
I kinda see a conflict there.. That is not. It is seen as same thing, but to learn and to learn could be two-totlay different things, put in different contexts.

Some learned the earth was flat. Moreover, when they learned it was round. the old learning?s was no longer valid?. However, some people said it was round whilst they learned it was flat back in the days. and thinking it is round, how could you learn the opposite? The posses of learning kind of involves "taking sides" and it kinda doesn't
So is learning "accepting the belief"
Alternatively, is learning "seeing a new side of the accepted belief? and it there a difference there?

some see learning as "I now learned that the earth is flat hence it is not round?" and make assumptions based on the learning?s?
When other might see learning as "I now learned that the earth is flat I wonder what other wives on that I might learn" and make no assumptions based on the learning?s but seek more based on it. It might look a same, im not getting it to "sound" they way I want but no harm in posting this anyways, hehe so.. That just might be a possibility of thousands?
