Cakes turning blue! What up?
    #346746 -

They have not been touched or bruised. They are turning blue on there own. What's the deal?

sometimes they turn blue if they get too hot. i think this is because of water loss. if they feel dry raise the humidity in your terrarium by using perlite or by misting.

Ok alot of newbies have asked the same question. The cakes turn blue because of dehydration.Use a double ended cake casing tek on PF tek website. It willl improve your cakes.

Also the humidity in your chamber is too low. To much ventilation probably. Perhaps you have a bubbler 24h on?

Your cakes are definitely getting dry. Use the PF double ended casing tek and make sure your humidity is over 90%.
