HPPD and the strange ability to influence visuals.

Trippers, Look in the side of your vision, and it appears to move in a shutter effect, mostly round in circles. I seem to be able to control the movement of it, and sometimes of objects infront of me.
Sorry if its a repost but I thought it was pretty weird and cool :thumbup:

Well I have HPPD so I can see it all the time, but it proberably works when you're tripping too?

That would be awesome if you could use them willingly but shut them off when driving or operating heavy machinery.

haha yeah, I can use them willingly. I can intesify visuals if I want, move them different directions (to certain extents, it gets easier towards the side of your vision. That IS a problem you highlighted tho, because im not sure if I want to drive incase of having visuals which would distract my attention. Im pretty sure I'ld be focused on the task and not "see" visuals.. but its still a risk

I basically have visuals all the time, ever since I took shrooms for the 3rd time. Its not quiet so mad all the time like when you take loads of shrooms. But there is an element of it there 24/7. It increases when im more tierd, frustrated etc, or if I get stoned then it increases alot. If I look in the side of my vision at anything, it appears to move round in circles most of the time... but then if I will it to move a different direction, it will. Both sides of the vision rotate clockwise, but at opposite sides of the "clock" to one and other. If I concentrate on say the left side and make the object move up, the other will move down, and visa versa. But if you concentrate harder you can make both sides move independant of eachother. Its really hard to explain. The sides of my vision when it moves, moves in a shuttery effect. as if it has a low frame rate, towards the center it becomes more smooth, static objects that appear to move more to the centre of my vision are much more smooth but also alot harder to control movement of, its almost as if you have to concentrate on that "plasmate" that floats around in your vision, rather than the object you're looking at.

how easy is it to acquire HPPD? how come no one ever rights about that being a long term effect?

I began to experience HPPD after I tried 2C-I for the first time, and I've had it ever since. After I trip, the visuals seem to be very intense and noticable, and it'll last about a month or so before they settle down to their usual intensity, and I become used to them fairly quickly. The usual things I see are nothing more than mild trails, flashes of color, or if I focus on something (wood grain, sky, etc) it'll breath and shift. But sometimes it's a straight up hallucination.. like when I saw my backyard collapse in on itself, and a pearl onion fell out of my gym teacher's nose. The only thing I fear is having an intense visualization while I'm driving. That's one of those situations where you're not gonna have a good time.
WELP, that's my input on HPPD. Nothing else to say, really.
