Some of these posts are very old and might contain outdated information. You may wish to search for newer posts instead.
To start on the contamination FAQ I need:
    #343339 -

Pics of contaminations in substrate or on agar. Only pics that are free to publish, like your own pics. I want to start writing the FAQ next week, as I have yet little pics it would be very nice.
In future I will try and put them (the contams) on agar and on substrate for picturing myself. So the Faq can be very clear. The pics from Chonger in this forum are an example (where he states I can use them) of how this can help me alot!
Details on substrate it grows on, smell and other thing I should know are very helpfull to get this on the road.

Sources that will be used for writing the faq are:
- Mushroom Cultivator, P Stamets
- Microbiologie of food

Wish I had some film for any one of my dozen freakin useless ass cameras. I could give you green mold, yellow mold, brown mold and I even think I have "white mold" cause its white but its not fuzzy or ropy like mycelium. I'll make it a point of getting some film and taking some pics before this shit starts to fucking breath...

Billy that white mold your talking about, it is like pure white right?? well it will soon turn to the green mold, every time I seen this shit it soon turned green...damn it, I HATE MOLD. It sounds like from reading your post that your having a hell of a time...

I can take some pictures of some of my molds here in the next few days and post them. I got some green, red, yellow. Its good to get some use out of them. If you would like you can PM me your address and I can send a sample of some of the little buggers for you to grow out.

Great I'll pm you,

I forgot to add that adding info on smell of the contam should only be done when having bacteria growth. As for molds, they can release spores wich can cause illness and can be fatal when symptoms aren't recognized.
I don't want this to happen to you, so only if you are certain of the fact it's bacteria you can give me smell info like rotten, sour, alcohol etc.

Yeah i got that white mold on a casing once, i was neive to think at first that it was some super mycelium growthage, but it grew extrememly fast, and then turned a really pretty emerald green colour unlike typical green mold (which is it not)
