Hmm.. I might point out that you really need a few more pictures of cobweb mold than one. That one is rather curious, its very fullgrown and appears to be quite white, as opposed to the classic grey.
Of all the molds, often people new to growing find it hard to conceive being able to discern between mycellium and cobweb mold. I wish I had a cam because I grew about 10 jars of various types of contamination not long ago and it would have been nice to have some use for them.
That defenately sounds/looks like wetspot or bacillus.
Should smell sour 2 than.
Bacteria often come from unsterile equippment.
Better do a good sterilizing step on all things.

This forum has been dead for a good while so I decided to wake it. Most of my contamination happened the last round of jars I did. The goo happened I believe because I didn't was my jars very well after I had dumped everything out. It also might have been because I cooked the seed to long and it was kind of mushy, just a little bit more than my first batch.
The black pin mold came from me being lazy. All around lazy. I innoculated without sterilizing my syringe at all with a flame. And the reason the jar looks so bad along with the others is because I haven't cleaned out my closet for a while, so they have been sitting there for a good two months.
The cobweb I believe isn't really cobweb but probably black pin mold. That is what the black pin mold looked like before it turned black.
I have never opened any of the jars so I can't tell you what it smells like except the goo which does smell like apples/socks/bacon all in one.
I will hopefully have more pics soon (not hoping for contamination but it is inevitable) so I will post more as they come. Sorry the pics are so large, I figured that it would be better that way.
What is black pin mold. I have something funky in a jar and its not spreading? It looks like black dots at the very bottom of the jar. I doubt its contames because I boiled the jars in a pan for a half hour and the bottom of the jars would recieve the most heat therefore guaranteeing sterility. The dots don't seem to be spreading or multiplying. I think it might be rust from a metal that got mixed in with the verm.
This stuff is SOOOO disgusting. I was at my partners house helping him clean out some jars, when we got to the trichoderma infested jars UGGHHH! It smelled like shit LITTERALLY! The smell was like when you step in dog shit or like the most disgusting fart you could ever imagine.
here is some green shit for you i was going to ask about it but seeing this post i knew what it was did a shearch and found all the info i needed thanks
Trichoderma in jars, this is what happens when you are not clean. I did not sterilise my needle adequately between innoculation of jars. My result was a %40 contam rate.
This looks like Black Pin mold (aka Dingleberries)
They smell like coffee grounds through a mask, but smell more like feces when the mask is removed. You almost didn't get a pic that's how nasty this stuff is.
"This coffee tastes like shit!"
"It is shit, Austin"
