Best Casing method for Newbie?

OK, I've heard people tear shreds from Shroom Wizards grow guide but I've also heard lots of people getting success with his casing tek. I've got a medium sized aquarium with a glass lid and a 50cm X 25cm X15cm rubbermaid plastic thingy with a lid. I'd rather not buy anything else. The PF tek requires me to go get specially cut perspex sheets and make special wood frame lids and shit - I mean I will, but only if I have to. What do you reckon?

Well I do not think you need to buy anything else are you going to leave your cakes whole?? if you are going to crumble them simply crumble your cake into your tupperware thingy and put a casing layer on top 50-50 50-50+ whatever you are going to use cover your aquarium with plastic all you want to avoid is water dripping onto the mycelium. and then keeping your humidity up.

get a big tub/aquarium, whateva ya got, add about 2 inches of perlite to the bottom, add some water and let it soak it up. that should provide enough humidity... and then maybe go for some casing. it seems to be the prefered method and works extremely well with a little perlite...

I'm sure you know to make sure you don't get all that perlite too wet.
