Yea definately hitting the NE Gathering regardless of anything going on in my life (aside from death). :thumbup:

I like the date idea too.  It would really help those of us who are trying to fly over.  Even though it's only november, as Beejay said, the rates will only go up as we get closer to the gathering.

sounds like a good plan to me, personally Im thinking mid-July... as long as its not at the same time as the NE gathering I'll be happy. Could try posting a poll in the gathering section as well.

I'll be there if you guys get it organized. If you need help with the organization then Im down. The thing is we should make it a little longer than one weekend because for people like me that are in the western side of north america, thats a long way to travel for just three days. Lets make it a week at least. And I agree we should find a forest somewhere to camp. Or at least a place to do a big shroom trip where theres not too much people?

I like the idea of a week long gathering too, or maybe if the gathering is only a few days some of us can go off and have some fun running the country side. :evil:

yeah even if it is only a weekend Im probably gonna stay for 2 weeks or so. There is plenty of stuff to do in Europe.

Was thinking of the veluwe as well but as we know its crowded all around, but the veluwe (apeldoorn surroundings?) has much forest some wildlife and is somewhat more central.

And try to make it accessible for my dog darn! :P

We're looking for a campsite for ourselves or a group accomodation. I think we really need to be seperated from the rest of the world. Let me know if you can find such a place in the Veluwe. I'll search for it!

Annom do you have any idea yet how many people will come or have intentions to come?

Id like to camp! :laugh:

Will keep eyes open if I know what (how many persons) kind of accomodation we want.

I was under the impression we were camping already, but yea I was hoping to camp too unless someone really wants 30 or more people staying at their house. :lol:

I like the thought of just a big open place in the wilderness where we won't be bothered by camp rangers or anything.  Then again I'm just some dumb American who wants to check out your country, so whatever you guys decide on I'll most likely go with. :thumbup:

Lol wilderness, wilderness died with the last wolf somewhere 1800.
But really it is so crowded, like someone stated before, what we call forest is a park in US or Canada.

BUT there are nice places, where silence and wildboar rule....

Very impressive to do a ritual with a pipe, and then dive in that other world, listening, standing still....

Love that!

Anyway Ill look out for a suitable place but want to know how much of us are gonna be there first,

I spoke with my boss, and he says if I we can get a signup list so we know how many people are coming, we can organize the place and provide the shrooms for the gathering. So if we could start a sign up list so we always have a current idea of the number of people planning on attending. We can then get this thing rolling. I am going to be contacting my travel agent today to see what we can work out ticket prices for you guys...

How different we are, when I take the mushrooms I feel for deep contact with nature.
