2nd Casing

After my first flush I cleaned of all the abhorts and applied PF double ended casing Tek. I am now spraying the top casing layer directly. How long until new pins? My cakes are PF. Also what kinda yeild per (PF) cake should I excpect from my 2nd flush, first was pretty weak.

Give'em about a week to pop up through the casing. Did you scratch the surface first? That helps to speed things up and increase pinning.

Scratch the surface of the mycellium or scratch the surface of the casing?? It has been 3 days since I have applied casing and I already got a few pins. I sprayed a little directly anyway (making sure not to let it touch pins) because I figured it could still need the rehydration. After that I think I will seize spraying directly. What would happen if I never cased would the cake still have flushed??? Just curiouse.
Oh yeah can anyone answere my yield question above?

it is hard to estimate what your second flushes yeild will be without first knowing the size of your casing, the amount of substrate use, and the amount of shrooms harvested from the first flush. if this info is supllied i could give you a fair estimation.

What I do for my cake between flush, I dunk them for 15-20 hours, (after having took all the verm off), and then put a new casing on. I get inbetwenn 4-8 shrrom per flush.

I am completly mad so dont listen to a word I say its the littleblueguyz fault.If I don'tpost anything for a few days, it's that I have suicided myself or I had decided to live on Mars.
