there used to be cob web mold on my casing
    #338569 - 06/11/01 07:48 PM (23 years, 11 months ago)

15 days ago three fully colonized rice/verm cakes were cased between verm and 50/50+. At about day 7 or so cob web mold contaminated the casing. Hydrogen peroxide was sprayed onto the contams. The mycelium seemed to retreat as well as the mold. Nothing happened for 4 or 5 days then all of a sudden mycelium covered over 85% of the casing layer. There were still signs of the mold on the high spots of the casing layer though they were and still are very small. About days ago there was a mighty flush. At last count there are over 70 shrooms growing rapidly. The question is this will these beautiful things be safe to harvest? It is such a large flush!!!!!! This is a new strain to the grower. Thia Lipi. Experience in the past has been with an Amazonian strain were flushes out of the same description of the Thias but there were only twelve or so very large shrooms...nothing like what is growing now. Thank you anyone that can tell me about this cob web mold and if it can be poisonous.....

Peace....

Eat drink and be merry bro! All should be fine!

I've got nicotine stains on my fingers.
I've got a silver spoon on a chain.
I've got a grand piano to prop up my mortal remains

PEACE
