Snagged a Puppy At The Pound Today.

i kind of wanted a pit bull or a rottweiler or some kind of big strong dog, but they didn't have any and i couldn't resist this border collie and lab mix. she's a cute one...

thanks everybody, she is cute and she acts cute too. she peed on the carpet right here at my feet a few minutes ago and i'm not even mad. heheh

toiletduk, you're right. i think shelter pets make the best pets because they're kind of used to loud noises and aren't so timid. my last dog was way too scared of even little noises like if i were to drop something. pound pups are tough.

robbster, that is an awesome looking rot.

Congratulations on saving her from the needle.

Kind souls always go to the pound.

My last dog was the runt of the litter at the pound and was terribly sick.. it took her like 3 weeks to get over whatever she had. We didn't think she'd make it. She made it 13 more years tho (large breed).

My pit/lab mix is almost 2 years old now. My brother saved the dog's life. Someone threw him out a car window going 40 mph through the city. My brother was towing at the time, stopped in the middle of the road and took the shaking, bleeding at-the-paws little guy and we adopted him :smile:

Now that my brother's gone its nice to have Reno around. Reminds me of his big heart. I love that dog more than anything.
