Did I ever blame the U.S. directly for Abu Ghraib?

Quit being so fucking stupid and presumptuous when it comes to having dialogue with a Muslim.

I never said you blaimed the US directly for Abu Ghraib.
Though many of those in the Muslim world and more have.

I merely pointed out that your previous appraisal didn't hold true. You said insurgents hadn't done this and when they do, you fall back to claiming that the leadership is is immune to blaim. Since conspiracy theories are just thrown around, couldn't he have said one thing in public and meant another. Are we to just take him at his word - WHEN HE HAS ADMITTED RESPONSIBLITY TO FOR THE SLAUGHTER OF INNOCENTS? If we are to take him at his word, then you should have no problem believing Bush at his.

Why is it that if "a major thing about Islam is that it establishes dignity to people" don't your extreme Muslim brethren recognize this?

It appears you are the presumptious one. One who also easily looses his temper and is reduced to calling his opponents "so fucking stupid" when presented with a question.

bush invaded iraq in response to hussein's invasion of kuwait. then hostilities were suspended when a ceasefire agreement was signed. then hussein violated, and thereby voided, that ceasefire. then hostilities resumed.

oh so was THAT the reason we went into iraq? i keep getting confused, consenting to weaps inspections, having wmds, or to liberate the citizens so clearly desperate to have the u.s. come occupy their country. now i understand that iraq attacking kuwait means that u.s. will attack iraq twice, once in response and again over a decade later. cmon mush, dont be a partisan hack.

Could you give me a link to this "ceasefire" mush? And could you point me out the precise legal authority it has in going from liberating Kuwait to invading Iraq 12 years later?

I said the insurgent leadership did not do this. Read carefully next time.

UN resolution 687.

And could you point me out the precise legal authority it has in going from liberating Kuwait to invading Iraq 12 years later?

hostilities were suspended on the basis of saddam hussein's acceptance of the terms in resolution 687. there was never any peace treaty, but only a conditional ceasefire, which hussein promptly violated, rendering it null and void.

this is why hostilities did not end back in '91, but continued over the entire decade, under both bush and clinton administrations, finally culminating in the recent invasion of iraq.
