250 ml jar, neglect tek, etc. ?'s

-250 ml wide mouth mason jars... Ok to use right? Not exactly 1/2 pint (i don't think) but still ok?

-Using the neglect tek (fanaticus.com), how much light do they need a day? Is 30 min. of normal "house light" good enough? Also, do I need to ever actually open the jars (for air?) besides when I take the cakes out to pick off the mush?

-Could I use a crock-pot instead of the stove to sterilize? If so, for 1 hr.?

those jars are ok.
30 minutes of light every day is adequate to trigger pinning in most strains.
only time you need to open jars is to pick, and wipe away excess condensation.
doubt a crock pot would work as well
