Anyone have any experience with or thoughts about the Peace Corps?

I'm considering joining the Peace Corps if I haven't figured out what I'm gonna do with my life by the time I graduate. Just be prepared for shitty food and water and living conditions far below what you'd normally expect. But also be aware that not all Peace Corps operations are in remote areas of Africa. Some are in urban areas, and some involve helping people with agriculture. I figure their slogan is probably accurate: The toughest job you'll ever love.

i did 2years 3 months(peace corps) in guatemala. at first it was hard to get used to, but after the shock i was sad to leave. i have some friends that went to africa and it is alot harder to deal with.

Peace corps is cool. Met some realy cool people in there. Came to a camp I worked at and did the high ropes and climbing tower.
