anyone know a good online retailer of Trichocereus Peruvianus (peruvian torch)

I was wondering if anyone knew of any good suppliers, preferabbly with dried tissue samples. I have searched the web various times, and have come up with a couple of small sources, but most of them sold out. I have e-mailed a couple suppliers but if anyone has any links please help me out!

yah maybe i will buy some pachnoi (sp) depends if the people from the peruvianus sites email me back ... i would rather buy from a trusted source anyway, than just some random place ! :smile:

and whats the shipping it only says plants and seeds. i am assuming it would be a plant?

also you say it is fresh sun dried in peru?? isnt the "active" ingredients photosensitive. so wouldnt that ruin it or is that just some term you are using?

okay i can get T.PERUVIANUS -> 25g for 24 dollars + 6.50 S&H = 30.50

or T. PACHNOI -> 1 oz (28g) for 22 dollars + 5 or 8 dollars (not sure) = 27 or 30

what one would you chose??
is it worth it for the peru because its ALLEGEDLY more active?

there's a guy in south america who ships dried green cactus flesh for under $US 300/kilo i think...
& there are other folks who indicate the availability of other species of Tricho as well... shop around...

all items fall under seeds except for plants which is listed different.
Actually yes the material is :sun: dried. :grin:
That is how the majority of dealers dry it. Better than the other part that oven dry.  :crazy:  Plus fresh cactus will mold tooooooo easy.

Somewhat of a grey area....there's no legislation against any species of Trichocereus specifically, some of the species (T. Peruvianus being one of them) contain mescalin, which is illegal. To my knowledge there have been no cases in which charges were brought against someone for selling a species of Trichocereus, but it's theoretically possible that it could be done. I'm speaking strictly from an American standpoint of course, every country has it's own laws. You should without a doubt educate yourself on what your country's laws are regardless of where you live.
