This is really one of the best documentaries on this topic, please do go and seek it out! It's been on the Sundance Channel several times, I guess netflix has it, or you can buy it. Connie Littlefield is now making a movie about the Shulgins which needs funding. Hofmann's potion was funded by the Canadian Filmboard, but the Shulgin movie is self financed and needs help. If you can afford to pay a bit more for the movie you can get a copy by donating to MAPS. You can also just donate towards the Shulgin movie if you make a donation to MAPS and state that it's for this project.
This will be an other outstanding documentary about two of the most wonderful people and psychedelic pioneers and simply has to be made and seen.

Dr. Humphry Osmond passed away since Hofmann's potion was made, it's probably the last live video of this icon, the man who coined the word psychedelic.

Netflix is an online video rental place.  You pay 17.99 a month and you can have 3 dvds out at once.  There is free postage each way and they have a ton of stuff.  You just make a list of the movies you want and they send it to you.  You can rate movies and they will give you recomendations too on stuff.  I like em.  Increased my library a lot :smile:.

Learyfan have you seen the documentary LSD-The Beyond Within? I downloaded it off Bearshare. I think you'd like it :smile: Some of the big names... you've mentioned are interviewed...ken kesey, Humphrey Osmond.... and yes I watched the preview of hofmann's potion... looks awesome!! I need it @_@...

Yeah, Hooty was nice enough to let me copy "The Beyond Within" from him on Soul Seek. There are two parts of it and i've watch most of the first. I love it. It looks like it's going to be nearly as good as "Hofmann's Potion".  :thumbup:

I watched the DVD. It was great. I mean, it was worth the money just for the Al Hubbard part alone. I loved it.

One thing that was interesting about it was that the directors thank Nick Sand and Tim Scully in the credits as well as Bear.
