Hoffman's Potion

Best movie I've ever watched. I enjoyed that SO much. It was just inspiring. These people, like Albert Hoffman, Humphrey Osmond, Al Hubbard, Aldous Huxley, all these people that really -knew- the psychedelic experience, that really understood what they were doing and why, were interviewed the WHOLE movie. They were just talking about LSD in the most beautiful light, with the BEST music in the background, and..I just don't know what else to say. Everything that should have been said was said. It was great.

Hoffman's Potion

Oh, and Ram Daas. He kicked ass hard at the end. He takes a while to talk though (had a stroke), but when he finally finds his words, they're good ones.

I used i2hub, since I'm on a college campus. If you aren't, try http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/

You'll want to open the public hubs button in the program, go to the filter, and search for "psy". The top server that comes up is called MicroDots (badass hub by the way. Best place for psy on the planet) and if they don't have it, I'd be shocked.

It's a terrific film. Just for the fact that you get to see Hofmann, Hoffer, Osmond, Metzner, Dass, etc. speak, it's great.

One of my favorite parts was where they talk about the mysterious "Captain Trips" Al Hubbard. He's one of my favorites, and this is the only LSD doc that i've seen discuss him.

Yeah, that was cool seing pics of Al Hubbard and what a strange guy he was. Best line was from..Humphrey Osmond I think? I don't actually remember who said it, but it went something like this

"The military gave LSD to soldiers to see what effect it had on them, but the problem was all the soldiers that took it wanted to leave the army"

That's not the exact quote, but that's the gist of it. That was great.

We couldn't use "Hofmann's Potion", but I have tons of stuff that we could use which isn't copywritten. Perhaps space is an issue. Enter suggested this to Anno, but was rejected.

BTW, go to the "Hofmann's Potion" website to see a preview of the film.

Yeah, that's what mine is on. It cost thirty some old dollars, but yeah, I have it on DVD.

Go to the site I linked. The makers of this film are in the process of creating a Shulgin film as well.
