"Hofmann's Potion: The Early Years Of LSD"

Last night I started downloading a movie called "Hofmann's Potion: The Early Years Of LSD". Today I saw a little bit of it. It's ALL about Albert Hofmann. He speaks throughout the movie as does many other prominent psychedelic luminaries such as Myron Stolaroff, Ram Das, Stan Grof, an OLD Humphrey Osmond and many others that i'm sure I didn't see as I was clicking through it briefly.

Let me tell you. I've watched a total of five minutes of this thing and it made me order it online just like that. This is the BEST documentary about LSD that i've ever seen. It's so beautifully done. I mean, just the fact that you get to see all of these great psychedelic icons talk about what LSD meant to them makes it worth the price. It's $36.45 after shipping for the DVD, but I will gladly pay that. Check out the Real Audio clip on the home page and don't be surprised if you do the same thing I just did.

That's totally fucking wicked, i really wish i could buy this right now, but i can wait. Btw, is Richard Alpert really Ram Dass? If so, that is so insanely hilarious to me. I've read be here now, and don't remember him saying he was formerly Richard Alpert. LMAO

Buy it on DVD man. It's WAY too good of a documentary to only be able to have on your computer. I look forward to letting friends borrow my copy and such.

It's the BEST LSD documentary i've ever seen(even though I haven't seen much of it).

It's even better than  "Getting High: The History Of LSD" from The History Channel, which I LOVE. I'm telling you. I am SO psyched to be getting this. Other than that German Albert Hofmann cd I have, I haven't heard Dr. Hofmann speak very much. Now, I get an entire DVD of him speaking in English about his wonderful discovery and how it was used it's early days.

Isn't it though? I can not wait to see it. It shows LSD in the most (deservingly) favorable light and it's so well done. One of the clips I saw was of Myron Stolaroff talking about how LSD was considered to be the greatest discovery in the history of mankind. I agree.

BTW, the director if this movie is currently working on a documentary about Sasha and Ann Shulgin called  Ann And Sasha: A Chemical Love Story. Stay tuned for that one.....
