Inoculation Of Dung Through Colonized Dung?

Can someone use colonized dung, to inoculate more dung?
Would that work instead of using more spawn??? Is there a difference??? Will total yield be smaller??? If so, why?

i was wondering the same thing too, i have a colonize piece of cow shit in my terrerium now, and it has at least 20 pins on it... theoretically (sp?) it should work...

Sure you can. As long everything remains sterile, you can.
But it?s getting harder to remain clean with subsequent transfers.
