colonization time

It has been about a week to a week and a half, and one of my two jars (which i innoculated both at the same time) is WAY behind the other.. (colonization wise) one looks about 40% colonized while the other is like 7% colonized... as you can tell, it is a big difference between the two.... can anyone tell me why this one jar is so slow?
(thanks in advance for any imput you may give me)

Did you do the same receipe for both jars? Did you shake well the syringe before inoculating?? Any accidents happened (nok down a jar, water falling in the holes [beleive me, that happenes!!]). Is one jar next to a radiator, in direct sun or something like that?

My answers::

Did you do the same receipe for both jars?-- YES
Did you shake well the syringe before inoculating?--Well, mabe not at every hole....
Any accidents happened?-- NO
Is one jar next to a radiator, in direct sunlight?--NO
