How to sterilize makeshift cardboard glovebox?

I made a small one using a cardboard box, some dishwasing gloves, some cut-off butter tubs for the glove supports, and lots of tape.. Anyway, I have a small cake(less than 1/2 pint) of my experimental 10-grain cereal mix about 1/2 colonized, but it has completely dried out..

I injected 8cc of sterilized water into it about a week ago, and the mycelium took off again, but it's dry again already.. So.. I want to take the colonized piece out and use it to inoculate a different jar.

So, what is the best way to sterilize the inside of a cardboard glovebox? I don't have any Oust.. just generic disinfectant(lysol).

Also have rubbing alcohol, bleach, and 5% hydrogen peroxide at my disposal.

LOL, I have no idea how your gonna do this. I would like to say that a small plastic container would suit your purposes much better then cardboard. You could obviously lysol the hell out of it until germs tell their friends to stay away from the sketchy brown box. But in the end getting it wet doesnt seem like a terrific idea.

I may be mistaken, but I think there are teks for the construction and use of glvoeboxes here at shroomery. They are your best bet for ideas on this.

Wasn't there a tek w/ a rubbermaid tub? It looked like maybe 20 bucks worth of parts.

Yeah, that's what you generally make them with.

There are plenty of people that have used cardboard boxes, though. I could just go at it with bleach and/or lysol, but I'd like to know the best method. I'm almost thinking alcohol might be cool, it would dry out much more quickly. Not really sure what to do about the air inside since I don't have any Oust though.
