I think they are taking a stab at weed growers.
They can go ahead and setup a big greenhouse without worrying about the jackboots slapping down their wife and macing their dog.

yeah probly but mostly there sold for tomatoe growers the guy at the hydro shop says there is lots of good books about growing tomatoes at borders books

if you want a show quality plant, a combo of Metal Halide and HPS are used,
during the vegitative state using metal halide will give you more in the
blue spectrum, much like spring and summer, the HPS has a yellow/red cast to it
which is similar to the sun in the later summer and fall... the HPS is supposed to
be better for flowering

So if your growing weed as a true botanist would you would know MH is great for veging cacti and plants but to flower weed you need a HPS. Ive alwasy been told gram for watt HPS always beats MH.
