Sour, yet strong growth and frustrated.

AFOAF's first grow went flawless. After this he began getting a sour rot smell from all of his cakes and grains. He was throwing everything out but then decided to just let it grow. Shrooms were weak (stupid yes I know) but decent sized. He can't seem to get anything to grow right. He's pced everything possible. Even decided to buy syringes from a Shroomery sponsor. Bacteria comes back in every case. So question is...Is it the water? His verm? Oh yeah, and when he dunks his cakes in a strong h2o2 bath they grow larger fruit but the smell does come back. Does myc bubble in h2o2 or does bacteria only? He's also successfully grown clones of these shrooms with out any evident bacterial infections on the agar. Any ideas? Thanks!

Pc-ing grains and cakes for 60 minutes @ 15lbs. He does live in a higher elevation. Could it be that he needs to pc at around 18 or 19 (can't pull off 20lb with his pc-er)

He's using a tub-in-tub action. Fruiting chamber is just a aquarium with sheild and perlite but bacteria or whatever seems to attack during incubation or inoculation.

Yes, yes, yes !
Also replace the perlite. Actually you can add a bit of h2o2 to the perlite.
