I have learned from the Spirit that everyone and everything is special. Still, we can have our personal opinions about matters. I consider the artwork of Leonardo daVinci to be much more "special" than anything I produce. That is my personal opinion and I feel the wise would agree.

I'd say that most of the artistically trained astute would easily state that the works of Leonardo daVinci are much more "special" than anything I have shared thus far and I would wholeheartedly agree! What? You don't??????

You ask, you shall receive:

"Your attitude is a representation of your current spiritual status and obviously nothing will suffice to assuage the miserable life you have obviously attracted to yourself."

"If you think your response gives me a better view of reality than what I have learned after many years of study and application of philosophical beliefs you are quite delusional."

"From the tone of your egocentric 'know it all' post it seems you really need to take your own advice. Just look at you signature quotes and statements. They are the statements of a mixed-up minded person."

"In my opinion, Plexus is a person content to be what I would call ?a miserable loser?. If you want to be content being a miserable loser who refuses to better his or her life then, by all means, follow the philosophy of Plexus to the letter."

"If I truly hated all of your guts I would do everything in my power to convince you all to live exactly as Plexus does."

"People like you don?t know what you are talking about because if you did you would most certainly realize that EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING is ?special? in EVERY WAY!"

"For example: if you created your avatar icon I can safely say that my digital creations are far more ?special? than your lame examples of digital art. Compared to you I am obviously a digital photographer Leonardo daVinci."

"I see my digital artwork as quite unique and special while your avatar icon is lame by comparison."

Should I go on? :smirk:

I am seriously interested in obtaining sturdier swords than these made from a solid piece of wood rather than having the blade glued into the handle. I don't intent to pay too much especially until I know that they will not break when I move extremely quickly.

You seem to think that such swords of higher quality than these can be easily found. Well, here is your chance to prove it, Mixomatosis. Time to either put up or shut up. Let's all see the links.

You pull those quotes out of context without showing why I reacted as I did. I was just being honest in how I felt. You would rather I be a hypocrite and kiss ass. I intend to respond differently to whoever posts from now on. Afterall, things have changed. I have already revealed what I have learned to be the single most important thing so I no longer need to comment on what was shared that was OBVIOUSLY not more important for happiness than living a strong and healthy life.

There are a lot of good and wonderful things that I have written in this forum. You only want to see what you perceive as the bad. That says a lot about you, Trendal. The good and interesting that I have written on this thread means nothing to you. I get the picture now.

I sincerely apologize if I was too demeaning to you who have been taunting and doing your best to ridicule me. I will strive to be a paragon of virtue from this point on. No guarantees, but I will do my best to improve and turn the other proverbial cheek to your childish and ignorant taunts.

The one on the left is an oldschool field hockey stick I got from the internet. The one on the right is an artist's rendition of a piece of firewood. It is extremely sturdy, and I could easily kill an opponent with either of these sticks in a real fight, which is quite amazing as its hard to injure people with heavy blunt objects.

The burden of proof is now on YOU to prove that better wooden swords of this type are available
Wow. Except wait, I never claimed better swords were available for purchase, all I said was that the swords you posted were mass-produced garbage, which they are. (hint: carve your own)

It looks like the burden of comprehending what you read is now on YOU, sadarthur. I suggest meditating for clarity of mind and maybe getting some excercise. That should get the heart pumping your stagnant blood and bring some much-needed oxygen to your brain.

My job here isn't to point out all the warm and fuzzy things you may post, but to make sure you follow the rules and play nicely.

Your assertion that the "good" things you post erase all the junk you post is not very indicative of an advanced spirituality.

Would it have been OK for Jesus to kill one or two people, because he did so much good otherwise? :smirk:

(In my opinion one of the above images looks like ?garbage? and the other looks like a work of digital art. I?ll leave it to you to decide for yourselves which is which)

"Wow. Except wait, I never claimed better swords were available for purchase, all I said was that the swords you posted were mass-produced garbage, which they are. (hint: carve your own)"

MY RESPONSE:

In other words you expect me to take your word for it. Sorry, but I like my wooden swords and I am not a wood carver. The best I could most probably create would look like ?garbage? alright and I can easily imagine that the best you could create would look like ?garbage? compared to my wooden swords as well. You cannot prove you assertion and so it remains mythology to me. Chinese Red Oak wood is not garbage!!!!! And neither is solid Rosewood. Your picture looks like ?garbage? compared to mine. Of course it probably looks like a work of art to you. If that is the best you can do with digital art then I say that what you produce looks like ?garbage? compared to the quality of my art. I am obviously a better artist than you. Just the plain truth and no mythology.

I'll keep on posting quotes for you as I see them

As for your "digital art"...how long did you spend creating that pic of the two swords in the sand? I assure you I could dig up two pics off the internet and paste them together in only five minutes...

This is ridiculous. Red Oak and solid Rosewood are not garbage. Plus they are obviously beautifully carved. Can you do better? PROVE IT! Garbage is what you throw away and these wooden swords are not garbage!

Now, if any of you are going to say they are garbage compared to what you can personally produce then let's all see the evidence for evaluation. If what you personally produce is not as beautiful these wooden swords then all your talk is empty.

Actual training has put a lot of strain on these swords. The Wing does not look as nice as it did in the picture when I first got it. If you have some expensive fancy carved wooden sword it belongs in a glass case and should not be used for actual training. This should be common knowledge to the wise.

"(hint: carve your own)"

MY RESPONSE:

Oh, so by reading my posts you automatically came to the conclusion that I am a master wood carver, eh? You are certain on your life that I can personally carve wooden swords that would not look like ?garbage?, eh? And of course you see your digital contribution to this thread as a work of art while what I have shared is ?garbage?, right? Obviously this is going nowhere and so I will not respond to this idiotic and ridiculous line of reasoning anymore.

Sid, your a very interesting person.

Some of your ideas are great.

Also, if any of what you say is true, you are in great physical shape and living life to the fullest. Rock on! I am a big fan of martial arts and a practicioner, although i am much younger and less experienced than you.

Much of what you say is very true, such as forgive all people including yourself, take responsibilty for your own life, do everything you can to live strong and healthy, respect natural beauty, all is sentient, etc...

This is great stuff!

however, you do need to tone down the ego/bragging a bit. I mean if you are making a point of giving advice, that is fine, but talking about how big your muscles are, how great your music is, etc, its just immature. Someone as powerfull and intelligent as you seem to be should be secure enough in himself to not have to seek praise by constantly bragging about his feats.

Also, avoid hypocrasy. In your orignal thread you said you had learned to look at all people in a positive light, and that if you couldnt think of someone in a benevolent way you wouldnt think of them at all. Later in that same thread you called someone a miserable loser.

The question is, do you live your ideas, or just come onto forums to post those ideas and then immediatly contradict them?

So heres my advice, if you in your magnificence are capable of taking advice from us lesser mortals.

This forum is give and take. Share your ideas and respect those of others. It is not a contest, and you do not always need to prove superiority, And to be brutally honest, no one cares about how great you are, simply because... well to us your just a name on a screen.

Again, i think much of what you say is wonderfull, and i agree with alot of it. My new "with you as my witness post" is something of an effort to get my own life back on the kind of track yours is on.

no one can deny that healthy living, vigorous exercise and benevolent philosophy are wonderfull. It is also hard to deny that you are RIDICULOUSLY arrogant and your bragging is nauseating

Re: The Sentient Spirit [Re: ]

philosophy...

" see it as fair to state that philosophers are usually more talk than action. I believe there is a difference between passive (too much talk) and active (a harmonious balance of talk and action) philosophy. I am an active philosopher. I exist somewhere between Carlos Castaneda's don Juan and the Renaissance master Leonardo daVinci (via Bruce Lee and Arnold Schwarzenegger). At best you can only see the passive side of my CURRENT beliefs. "

"Those beliefs are always in a state of flux in that I am always refining and ready to find that what I currently believe needs further adjusting and modification."

I agree, and its very cool when a person can look back and realized how much they have changed.

"That is one of the main reasons I come into forums of this nature for I appreciate it when anyone can point out things I may be overlooking. Whatever belief I currently hold as true that cannot be successfully defended MUST be modified and improved upon, as far as I am concerned. I have found that most will defend their defective beliefs to the bitter end thus the current situation of those who tote supposedly infallible philosophy verses others who supposedly tote infallible philosophy killing each other in the streets. I see this as pure unadulterated MADNESS and this madness seems to keep growing stronger all the time."

how do you hold a belief as true??

"The single most important things to know is that the entire universe is sentient, aware and alive to the subatomic level and beyond. Earth is a living being and part of the universal family of the Living and Sentient Spirit of Nature. There are certain laws that humans must follow, in one way or another, in order to attract the very best the Spirit has to offer humanity. The most well known of these immutable laws is that what goes around comes back around. It is the nature of the planets to revolve and this is, without a doubt, the most important law of the Living Spirit of Nature that people need to recognize and live in harmony with in order to live the most wonderful and happy lives possible."

thanks for sharing that.

"None of what you people have shared in the above quotes is more important for happiness than working towards living a strong and healthy life and yet I have learned that there is something even more important than living a strong and healthy life. So far no one in any forum I have visited knows the direct answer. It?s amazing that the knowledge of modern mankind is obviously devoid of the most important thing they collectively need to know in order to live the most wonderfully happy lives possible. It?s no wonder that mankind is a race growing in insanely killing turmoil. Humans prove over and over that they are obviously more interested in making money off of their problems than they are in solving them"

buth then you go and say all this? seriously, what's with the accusations? do you think that you might be judging a little harshly?  I'm all for bettering oneself as a person, but try to look at both sides of the equation.  you have time to go on a computer and browse different forums to be exposed to new ideas. aren't there also positives to our negatives.

"I am now more truly ?enlightened? than I have ever been and intend to become even more truly ?enlightened? than ever before."

"Again I say: what you people believe or don?t believe is not a requirement for my happiness in life."

cool cause it shouldn't

"So far it is obvious that none of you know the direct answer to my original question"

the irony lies within your post.  look for a question mark.

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.
