deadly blue bruisers

I've been reading the FAQ on this site and a bunch of guides on other sites but none will answer this queston......is there a mushroom that bruises blue that will kill you...i know that one species of blue bruising mushroom will give you gastralintesral(sp) sickness but can it kill you?

Yes, there are poisonous mushrooms that bruise blue, but if you I.D them on here then there would be no problem? :smirk:

There are no known lethal mushrooms that bruise blue, but it doesn't mean a fatility couldn't happen from eating the wrong mushroom. People have alergic reactions that can end up killing them.

Don't take any chances if you're not 110% sure of what you have.

also, if you're serious about learning to hunt and ID mushrooms, may I recommend picking up David Arora's "mushrooms demystified"
