 so my mushroom hunt ended up as a 4x4 in my car...

was starting to go mushroom hunting and visited a couple fields. didnt end up lookign much and decided to go in to the woods a bit. so there was a small dirt road to the side of some logging road. what the hell. not a BAD road, little over grown and bumpy but all good. then i decided to go down this little real overgrown road down to a muddy area. well ill stop talking. heres a pic or 2 and some videos if i can figure out how to get them to work. lots of scratched unfortunatly.
friend yelled look out, i ignored him them THUMP there goes my mirror. god damn fallen trees. put a decent scratch in the car. tomarow brings touch ups and new mirror shopping, oh boy!
anywho enjoy! i sure as fuck had fun!
This was in the mud pit. he didnt capture most of it, but it was WAY harder than it looks. i had to turn around in that....

we were driving down some back country road and there was a feild with tire marks. so i went through it and found a neat little road back there. very bumpy, but not big exhaust cruchers.

ps, escorts are excellent off road cars if you dont mind scratching them up! and raising them would be wise 
Anywho, just thought id share. it was great fun. ill see if i can get some pics of my poor mirror...ICBC had no idea what they got themselves into when they sold me the insurance  and in case no one figured it out, i just got my insurance today, i havnt hda my car insured yet...ive been loser cruising it everywhere. we shall see what tomarow brings.
oh and for the record and so im not flamed a ton, i was NOT intoxicated. i drive sober, so dont think i was shroomin and driving

not at all, but the bronco isnt insured either and im a broke fuck so... and ill ahve you know that escorts are done up rally style all the time! so there 
but they are a seriously good off road car. if i had the clearance i could pussy rock crawl with ease. and to top that off i got 37 mpg doing this! but is still 100% stock, even has the original tires. do that with a truck? but ya hehe, if i had the bronco insured i wouldnt think of doing it... work with what ya got though. only thing done to it thus far is oil changes; its a new car, or more acuratly a 99 that has rarley been used. iwas planning on making it more off road friendly but the cv joints were fuckign with me when i got to thunking up raising it, so i gave that up.
youve never 4x4'd till youve done it in a 4 door sedan. 
oh and the vids are 1ishmb and the other 2 are in the 4mb in case anyone is downloading them.

got it airborne already. theres a road that takes a dip down and you get about a foot air going about 80 kmh. kinda fun, but busy street so not many chances.
no they werent bad, but the pit was horrible. it was the last thing we did so camera space was limited. lets just say im glad i brought the shovel and carpet. anyway im headed out tomarow, ill get more pics and less vids as his camera sux a dick for vids.
but hey the dirt bikers were impressed, too bad they didnt have any budd...woulda been perfect.
id totally raise it up, and ive gone through the whole process in my head and on paper. it will cost a lot. the cv joints (in front wheelers its the thing going from the axels to the engine) would bend WAY too much after about an inch lift. ive only got 13" on it righ tnow, the biggest they can take stock is 18 rims and homey tires. but that rubs lots. im thinking of buying another one, standard tho, and toatlly red necking it up. if i can find a cheapy, thos hills are gonna get fucking owned!
and if i can find a european spec one, well im salivating already

the only other picture i have o fit. wher ehe is standing is where the mud was. abotu 2 feet deep, which is why i needed the carpet shovel, i couldnt get around.
