NO it is NOT "cool" it is very dangerous.
1)fusarium is easily mutable to find a food supply and is often pathogenic as a grain contaminant.

2)"selecting" a strain which feeds on insects is not only dangerous but could easily bring unwanted attn to an interesting hobby should ANYONE fall ill and the press bring forth "amature" microbiologists and the danger of "bioterrorism"

3)It is a gross mismanagement of a pathogenic culture,period.

Home microbiology is as yet one of the few fairly unregulated scientific hobbies. It is mistakes like this which bring in governments to "control" the "danger".

Please.....submerge this fuxup.
