Um, good luck getting them to seed.

Seeds are a very rare occurence, and even then - most are not viable from what I've heard.

Cuttings seem to be the only way to go with Salvia :/

Ebay is far from sucking, you can find some of the cheapest pedros there and you can buy peyote buttons. :wink:

Well I didn't find Salvia seeds or cuttings.

however I noticed the peyote buttons.

Ebay doesn't suck that bad, but I don't like usuing paypal.

Salvia, I have heard, is a type of mint. If this is true, once it gets a foothold, it should be hard to remove.

I think plants that grow from spores (ferns) are fucked.

And cacti are very interesting.

I remember a site selling Salvia seeds.

Though at the time they were out of stock until next season.

Can't remember for the life of me what the site address was though.

Many plants are what they call cultivars or plants that don't exist without human intervention. Salvia d. has become one of those. There are other plants that don't produce viable seed such as kava kava. You just have to get a cutting.
