you cant smoke it and get shit from it. maybe a head ache from the harsh smoke. but if tea is made with it you'll receive a relaxing body buzz, and its good at night time when trying to wind down.

When I make tea out of it, my vision goes out of focus, and I feel real weird.

No, that's very incorrect. Salvia contains the psychoactive chemical Salvinorin-A. Catnip does not.

Genetics don't matter, only the way the chemical produced by the mutations effects the human brain.

Psilocybin mushrooms have closely related brothers that are completely inactive. Marijuana is closely related to hops, but smoking hops isn't going to make Requiem for a Dream any funnier.

After all, you're only smoking one small mutation, not the entire DNA.

if you mean to reference certain hereditatry relations do that,
this way you are starting to sound like mckenna invoking specific scientific terms that your audience is not attuned to.
