Hey dudes, Id like some advice as to what may be the cause of this low yield. It is a growkit, which i got free, it came already colonised (europe, dudes). The substrate appears to be brown rice, of long grains. The tape measure in the pictures is in inches.

As you can see they only grew out from the edges, could this be due to hydration, light, compaction of the substrate, etc?

This is my harvest of 50.9 grams fresh(tape measure in cm)

I have resrapyed the kit and set it back up. thanks for any help you can give me dudes.

I don't know, I've never tried a growkit. What I can suggest is setting up a pmp and give the pf tek a shot if this is your first grow.

Some strains have bigger 2nd flushes... but really, it is hard to say. Make sure it is well watered between flushes.

Otherwise, look at some of the teks and grow logs here and see if you can pick up a few pointers. Good luck. Happy shrooming.

That doesn't look bad for a grow kit esp. since you said it got handed over to you mid-grow.Who knows how it got neglected. Make some prints and start some jars!!

Looks good bro,especially from a kit buy some spores from some dealer I got mine from the little guy. I got 5 syringes and 1 free for around 35.00 you cant go wrong there!

no dude, the kits are sold with good mycelium coverage already. I am the only owned of this kit.

I would like to grow from scratch and I intend to in the future, but right now my circumstances dont allow me to
