Its no secret, Aphex handed over 'control' to me and 3D.. It works like this, I offered to take over the financial responsibility of the site, thus now the shroomery is in my name, I pay the monthly hosting,  etc... 3D is my partner, he knows all the code and programming required to run this place, I don't...

So as a team it works out real nice... Aphex will still be around to help with behind the scenes stuff..

I even got Ythan's blessing, and he's even said that he will help out with giving ideas on how to improve this website...

So please don't think anything shady is going on, its a simple change over, Aphex was getting tired of the day to day stuff and he offered up his position in the moderator forum...

Me and 3D had been talking before this about trying to get Aphex some help for running the board, so when we heard about the oppertunity we jumped at it... Aphex chose us and the rest is history...Nobody paid for anything :smile:

the change of control from aphex to thor marks the beggining of the end for the shroomery(not to mention un-wanted advertising).....

Un-wanted advertising?!? Do you realize we had ads before that had nothing to do with the Shroomery?? The Bla Bla ads we had before even caused lots of problems for certain users....

These ads a relevant and they keep the shroomery running. If you hate this place so much, why don't you leave, I'm sure no one will miss you.

im just mouthing off, i understand the shroomery cant be free and you arent trying to pull a profit....nevertheless you are still selling out whether you admit it or not.....and i dont hate this place either, i just dont care for some of the dumb schmucks here(but there are dumb schmucks everywhere so what are you going to do??)

as ridiculous as people treat "karma", ill go ahead and join in on dimitris karma theory...........you simply heard something that sounded convienent to you and as a result picked it up and believed it...........the simple fact you are judging me(in not so kind ways) will be bring you bad karma if we follow your theory......of course i refuse to stoop to the level of running around damning people with the curse of karma as dimitri has appeared to do.....but whatever floats your boat dimitri

Thor, do not take me wrong. I like you and things you do.

This question I had to ask, because it was weird to me all this shit about starting/ stoping advertising, doations, Aphex leaving and so on.

Wow! i got quoted!? Thats got to be a first. Glad to see you liked what I said. I must say though that AITF has a point. if you really believe in karma you would realize that giving AITF shit about being negative is quite negative as well. I also agree with him when he says that people who use karma as a kind of threat are contradicting themselves. Not that you really did either of those things here, but I've noticed that you have been hounding AITF a lot lately. Just as you said "let it ride so it doesn't eat you up".
