give me advice on how I can become more intuned with The( and my) Nature.... I am so tired of alot of BS and I am not sure it is worth it to even devote thought to spirituality( and self improvement) anymore these days... I see so much posative from it all, and then, the NEGATIVE! ahh ,it just sucks it all away.... the battle of the rings(allusion to LOTR , sorry ) is what I am fighting, as well as is every soul past, so the question is, how do YOU stay strong?

Surrender to yourself , quit putting up resistance. You will find your strength when you let go of the fight. You will be at your strongest when you are at your most humble.

Just my fiddy cents.

I talk to people. Even if we don't talk about being spiritual, talking about what is going on in their lives makes me feel better.

What I mean: Sometimes, I become a little out of sorts. When I talk to someone who is having problems, but they tell me how they are handling it, I become optimistic.

We are so versatile. We are so, um, what's the word for bouncing back easily? Resilient?

When someone tells me of their problems, but that they are handling it, even if it's a struggle, I think, "Fuck, yes! Go us!"

It causes me to become grounded again in the peacefulness of what I am trying to accomplish.

Just remember that the struggle is always against yourself no matter what it seems like on the surface. Identify and strip away the layers of your false self, your false ego and you will naturally reveal what is underneath- your true self.

The way I stay strong is to keep perspective on my life and maintain balance. I try not to take things so seriously and focus on the positive without ignoring the negative. Sometimes I do get in a bad spot, but those times are becoming fewer and fewer (at least my negative attitudes toward the inevitable downturns), and I don't feel sorry for myself. Self pity is an utterly useless emotion.

if you i.e. cut off your hand. se the positive side that now you know how it's like having a hand cut off, not only the negative side. experience life, not what you think it is  the question leads not to the answer, the answer IS the question.
Are we here? this moment, is it changing, or is it changing moments? :P

My two cents...

1) Go with the flow.
2) Appreciate beauty.

Peace.

The strength is there wether you relies it or not you've got the whole universe inside so how can you not be strong with a universe for strength. I'll have to disagree with gettingjiggy I will never nor recommend others Surrender. Compromise be flexible but never surrender anything anytime. Surrendering is saying you where wrong end of story but I'd rather go with I'm wrong lets change that, fix it.

"the battle of the rings(allusion to LOTR , sorry ) is what I am fighting"

sounds to me like your badly stuck in the dualistic thought man. There is no one to fight but yourself, nothing to fear. Surrender is victory, when the war was always an illusion

once again my and getting jiggy with it are sayin the same thing like a synonym (i didnt read her response till after i did mine)

your bound to get hung up on the word surrender. But really, their is no battle. I mean there is but its self created and only continues as long as you remain addicted to the drama

shure there is no real battle acept the ones we create. But I don't think it is posable to step away from this addiction to the drama we call life by surrendering I think we have to step away from it we the strength we get from within growing takes effort but the very word surrender is a lack of it so I might be getting stuck on that word but only becuse it goes against my very nature

hehe yeah i know where your comin from. Damn limited language, the thing is just to clunky, thank god we wont need it much longer.

Surrendering in this case: laying down your burdens, throwing out your trash, dropping your excess baggage...
