CASING
    #314174 - 05/10/01 06:35 PM (16 years, 2 months ago)

i have three fully colonized trays of compost.
i want to crumble them on the bottom of a sterilite container
... and case them after the mycel recovers.
is it possible to use perlite as casing?
if not, i guess i'll just have to case it with some more compost.

and that I was just doing what was necessary to stay comfortable while I waited to die...

wait, not 'nuff said.
use coconut coir, its cheap, easy, contam resistant, awesome (use the gro-brick brand) and with dung and coir you will get some moster results.

Where can one find coir?
Where else is it used, besides mushroom cultivation?
