Worm Castings... Preparation...

When pasteurizing worm castings I read that it is more affective in the oven rather than water pasteurization as it leaves you with a sloppy mess... I was wondering how much water to add to the castings when preparing them in the oven.... This will be very helpful.. thanks a lot

if you plan to use the oven just make sure its moist. there is no correct ratio to do it....just use a spray bottle to make them moist, be careful because they do get wet easily.

add enough water so that it is moist, not dripping or muddy. if you like, add a little vermiculite to aid in water retention/balance...
