found a few today in an infamous spot in town. cardboard, you know where so find me at the bar b-cause I lost your number. several were consumed on the spot, which is my little ritual for the first find of the year and things are going well... suprisingly well. Just thought you guys would like to know, hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe It is going to be one hell of a season, let me tell you what.

Someone here already picked baeos and liberty caps just with in the last ten days or so at the shroom hunting forum.

The baeos have been around since July but only on sprinkler systems. While I was in Thailand, a few friends sent me emails on Koh Samui off their finds.

have a shrooomy day and Hi Cardboard, missed you last year. would still like to visit in a o month or so,

I dont care mj. noone in bham has posted finds this season. I eat MY first finds every season as a ritual. I know all about the sprinkler effect. Yet I find that the baeos growing on wody debris to be much more potent and meaty than those grown on lawns. cardboard, pm me your phone number so we can hook up. my cel phone works again. I checked the other lawn liberty patch yesterday,and nothing, but I am at stuarts coffee place now and it is cold and rainy. the cyans should be here by my birthday as usual. and guess what? am not letting you miss out on an astoria trip this year homie. so get pumped... weve got lots of work to do.

unfortunately no. cardboard is my designated photographer with the mad digital camera skills, as well as favored picking partner, but he wasn't there with me. but fear not. I am going out again today and I will try my best to get some pics. They were growing on the wood chip lawn interface at a known spot in bham the flushes always start out in the lawn then move into the chips. These were from the grass and were very slender and liberty cap sized. the later flushes from the chips produce huge, thick beautiful baeos which are 10x more photoworthy imho
