cactus pill method?

does anyone know of a method in which pedro or other cacti could be broken down and capsulized? maybe after a pedro tea is made, the fluid could be evaporated and so on? theres got to be a way ASIDE FROM A/B extraction* i think its unnatural and unhealthy* and aside from the old boil/strain method? thanx :crazy2:

"cut, pull spines (in bolivia they are huge and painful) peel skin and scrape the inner mush for a quarter of an inch, or till it gets "fibery" cuz we cant use fiber in this. Now simply dry in air or heat, the "goo" which was scraped. if totaly dry, its rock hard, and can be crushed to powder for capsulizing" -erowid

do you scrape and use the green tissue under the skin , or the mush that comes from it *do you smash up the tissue into mush?* where can one aqcuire gel caps for this ?

search for an alkaloid extraction method on the net. There are heaps of sources out there and they are fairly easy to do!!

They will give you powder/crystals which you can cap.

soaking in a nice dry alcohol (say, 99% isopropyl) a few times & simmering down the combined liquids until thick, & then drying completely could give you a fairly decent pedro tar, which could be stuffed into capsules...

Ground up pedro in gelcaps will rehydrate in your stomach and swell considerably. You can guess how this will make you feel. Take haunteds advice and do an A/B extraction.

As hanky says, toss the dried pedro you would have capsuled and swallowed into a pan of water. Look at how it blows up and the shit that comes off it.

Then imagine that in your gut.
