English Teachers

I love my English teacher!! I really do! He is so dignified and comfortable and wonderful!! In every class he tries to rile us up and speak about what's on our mind and hearts. How cool is that??

Ehh usually my english teachers remind me of my dead grandmother. But the best english teacher i ever had was a flamboyantly gay one. I loved that guy, such an easy class even though it was the highest level.

I've never really had any good english teachers. They've either been earnest but kind of socially retarded or just fucking retarded in general. Like this one teacher, he was also the drama teacher so 99.99999% of his effort and time went into that and we got the remaining 0.00001 percent. We watched videos for all the literature. And this was senior honors english hahah :frown: Shit I missed almost 3 weeks from pneumonia, didn't do a single piece of makeup work and still got an A.

Then there was the other honors english teacher who spent more time trying to sell us her shitty book than teaching and would mark literally half the class absent almost every day because she didn't know any of our names. Fucking retard. God, fuck public education.

I know what you mean, I just really love my English teacher.  Not in a "love, love, love," type of way, but in a really KICKASS type of "Oh my god, that guy is SO awesome" way.  For some reason, I usually like most of my English teachers.  Except that one bitch in 10th grade who was really...eh.  But this guy is AWESOME!!  did I say that enough yet??  :laugh: :cool:

My english teacher from my senior year of high school was pretty cool. He once told us about these "friends" of his who would eat peyote. They were native americans of course, and used it legally for religious purposes.

I had a botany teacher in high school who would steal all the pot kids would inevitably grow. It was cool though, he gave us a lecture about it, showing us where all the parts were (stem, leaves, buds, etc). Of course he also told us how to process cocaine. Cool dude.

And i should also add my favorite teacher i ever had was an English teacher, even though i don't really care for the subject. Wow, she just did so much for all of the kids and my writing improved more during her class than in any other point of my life. I hate schooling but when you have just a great teacher it can be wonderful.

Yeh, I never realized how important having a great teacher is until I started college just recently. Because of my good teachers this semester I know I'm going to have a great experience.

It took me a while to figure that one out, but it kinda makes sense when you realize that the only things you can really comprehend are the things you can verbally describe. Psychedelics are so otherworldy because they transcend language. Or so I think

You know how you can sometimes have trips that seem (in retrospect) to have a "theme?" One time, I had a theme devoted to language...all sorts of language! It was one of the most important trips I've ever had so far. Crazyness...I truly understood what Mckenna meant after that!
