Would this work well for ingesting cactus?
    #3061900 -

It seems like ingesting cactus is a long process which is hard to do unless you have the time & privacy to do it. My experiences were all with drying catcus, and then just chewing it a tiny bit and swallowing. Didn't seem efficant and probably didn't get as much out of it as I could have, what with disgestion having trouble breaking down such large pieces.

So if I took said dried cactus and placed it in a coffee grinder to reduce it to a fine powder, would that aid with ingestion? The amount of caspules required for cactus would be too much to be worthwhile, so would it be better to just grin and bare it by gulping powder, or would it also work by putting it in a shake/smoothie for easier ingestion? Too often that would leave a sludge at the bottom which makes it hard to get every last bit, but I'm sure a person could just eat that afterwards as well.

So what do you think?

--------------------
The very nature of experience is ineffable; it transcends cognitive thought and intellectualized analysis. To be without experience is to be without an emotional knowledge of what the experience translates into. The desire for the understanding of what life is made of is the motivation that drives us all. Without it, in fear of the experiences what life can hold is among the greatest contradictions; to live in fear of death while not being alive.

You mean like a parachuting method? I've considered that, as it seems like a good way to get it down without having to taste it. I'd just have a tough time swallowing all that paper!

i think that 50g of cactus powder will become 500ml in your stomach and that might be uncomfortable...
try the syrup, or dry the syrup.
