I don't really care.

Sometimes.. Well a lot of times.. I just don't care..
And sometimes I do..

But we all die.. So why should I really care? I want to do what I want to do. And then die, by naturel causes..

I'm 27 now, but I don't feel as if I can take this for another 27 years to come..

I don't know what I want. And don't start with "think about those you leave behind and shit". Because, why should I think of others when I am down?

Oooh.. I feel down, so lets forget me..  :confused:

Its a classic sign of depression.The key is to find the source of your depression and fix it.Sounds so simple yet, its one of the hardest things to do sometimes.

Depression is so hard to snap out of, it takes a real kick in the ass. I was quite depressed for the past month but yesterday a girl I talk to now and then told me "god damnit, take control of your life and stop being such a pussy, life goes on with or without you, so don't fall behind" at first I was like :crazy:... but then she made more and more sense, and within 2 days I was perdy well off. There will always be problems in life, you can trip over them though, you gatta find positive solutions and stop only thinking about all the bads in life. It sounds alot easier then what it is though. Best advice I got about it was always harsh, all the pitty ones like "ohh hang in there!" just made me more depressed.

Thank you everyone, I had an intense but brief depression suddenly coming over me. But today I feel okay.

It's no problem mon, we all get the downer now and then, some more then others. If it happens again smoke some weed if you need to, if it prevents something bad from happening its worth it.

I get in brief but regular moods of just not caring anymore and being fed up with life in this society and all it's games.  That's usually when I put on some Type-O, get high, and let the darkness wash over me, coming out clean on the other side :smile:

I think periods of depression need to get out.. like crying or getting angry or whatever.  I think they serve as healthy and +honest+ moments. 

Life is twisted and can be a real friggin head-ache.. no doubt about it.

Indeed, I guess i'm a bit to logical to handle a lot of illogical things.
Things which have no real relevance.

I just want to be left alone, to be who I am. Selfish maybe, but I didn't choose to be here.

Man, I feel the very same way. This may sound kind of ridiculous, but about six months ago I was feeling pretty down but then I watched Ferris Buellers Day Off. Yes, it is pretty cheesy, but I was able to get a positive message from it.

hey i believe i've read the book phishgrrl quotes from - " the prophet" - if you've got a philosophical bent and can handle a spiritual book, you should give it a try - its a short kind of fable that might lift you up .. at the least it has a lot of ideas to chew over and process.. keep yer mind occupied.

And, many times things seem alot different than how they really are.

Percieve Life, try not to let conceptions ruin the ultimate reality that things are always changing, and you are literaly not the same person from calander day to the next.

Your alive, your human, and we are given the gift of being smart speicies, but sometimes that gift slaps us in the face because we start to also belive that we can avoid all things that hurt, but we cant.

Think harm reduction, not avoidance of harm.
