lallafa, u don't know what the hell your talking about...anybody who has any experience growing for awhile will agree...u one the other hand......should take yer missinformed ass and go get educated the right way...by growing and studying...

psilocybe cubensis can produce very weak specimens. this happens with mature specimens...these specimens are indeed weakly potent and not worth taking. the mushroom is past its prime for a psychedelic source if the cap has opened, the veil has torn away... there once again...in yer face again.....

This is very true...as I remember the first time I picked some Psilocybins off some cow crap in the wild....the caps were very upturned, like an upside-down umbrella, I got about 2 ounces dry.... I ate about 9 grams and barely caught a buzz.

Well here's my two cents, I can't personally say one way or the other but I have read in more places than one that they don't "Lose" potency but what happens is that at that stage they produce very much less psilocybin than before maturing. So in essence they contain the same amounts of psilocybin but much less of a percentage by volume of it. So to sum up, the psilocybin content never decreases only the ratio of it compared to the rest of the fruit. I hope this helps I had some trouble putting this into words. And I am not trying to start arguements with anyone (Trust me I know you are all more knowledgable in this than me) just stating what I read.
