pick now or wait longer?

i have the pf classic and my mushies are about two to three inches long and the veil has already tore on some of them. does it usually do this? I thought they would get bigger before it happend. should i pick them now or just wait a bit longer?

If you are going to eat them pick em but if you want prints let them go till they flatten out then pick em.

I do not currently cultivate any mushrooms. Nor have I cultivated any mushrooms in the past. Nor will I cultivate any mushrooms in the near or distant future.

Yes if you wnt to make prints timing is important, they have to break the veil but you have to pick them before the spores drop.

Don't bother printing them if they're only 2 or 3 inches long, wait til you get some bigger ones. Spores from small mushrooms will generally grow small mushrooms, spores from big mushrooms will generally grow big mushrooms.

i think, im not sure, but i think the fruit grows just about as big as it can before the veil tears. this is just an observation, then once the veil tears it wont get much bigger, maybe the cap will flatten out more...but this is just my experience, id say pick after the veil tears.

i dont think this is true, i could be wrong. but i think its more of a condition problem. or something, but ive seen F+ spores from joshua (and you know his are big) only get 2-3 inches big.
